There are times that the Lord speaks to us; He gives a promise or reveals the intentions of His heart to us; only for us to sit and wait for it to happen. However did you realise that sometimes the Lord is waiting for us to respond to what He has said or declared over us?

We have victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15; 57).
As Christians we have to learn to walk through the trials of life with the Lord; knowing that through Him we always have victory. When we pray ; we believe that we receive and we have what we desire of the Lord ( Mark 11; 24). There are times that the Lord might instruct us to do certain things; it all depends on what the issue is.
If you had access to the President or Queen and they gave you an instruction to carry out an assignment. Do you think that they will not supply everything required to support what they have told you to do? If you had a child and you asked them to do something; say for example you asked them to continue their studies in a certain area of interest would you not pay the necessary allowance for their up-keeping? There is nothing wrong in healthy eating and rightfully so. We do need to watch what we eat. The scriptures tell us to glorify God in our body (1 Corinthians 6; 15). Part of glorifying God in our body will include taking care of our bodies which will include our diet. However; it takes more than a healthy diet to walk in divine health. There is an account in the bible where the Lord sent angel Gabriel to give Zacharias and Mary a message. From the account both Zacharias and Mary asked the angel a question however; and each got a different response. The Lord does not mind us asking the right questions. In this account; Mary asked a fair question as she had never known a man and it had never been heard before so Marys question was genuine. The angel answered her question and even went on to tell her about her cousin Elizabeth to encourage her. The angel concluded by telling Mary that with God nothing is impossible. What is a storm? I would define a storm as an unexpected interruption to the flow of things. This is particularly evident at sea. The boat is sailing nicely and all of a sudden a storm arises that threatens the safety of the boat and in some cases the life of those on board. We all go through storms in life. There are many reasons storms come along in life. Let’s have a look at scripture of some examples of storms and what happened at the end . |
